A DAY OF JOY: Nurses and Inmates Sharing Smiles, Games, and Togetherness
PGF College of Nursing students from Suryapet spent a meaningful month at Snehanilayam, engaging closely with differently-abled persons and the elderly. Through regular interaction, counselling, and compassionate presence, the nurses offered moral and emotional support—listening, encouraging, and building bonds that brought comfort and hope to the residents. This sustained engagement became a source of strength for the inmates and a profound learning experience for the young nurses.
The visit culminated in a joyful final day filled with fun games and a lively cultural programme. Laughter, smiles, and shared moments of togetherness created an atmosphere of celebration and warmth. The initiative proved mutually enriching—bringing happiness and companionship to the Snehanilayam family while nurturing empathy, understanding, and professional growth among the nursing students.
