Snehanilayam – Home for the Aged
In a world that moves fast and often forgets those who once carried us on their shoulders, Snehanilayam stands as a gentle reminder of gratitude, dignity, and compassionate care. This home is not merely a shelter; it is a family, a listening heart, and a sacred space where our elders are respected, loved, and valued.
Our senior citizens are living libraries of wisdom, sacrifice, and faith. Many of them have given their entire lives to building families, communities, and society, yet today they find themselves alone and unheard. Snehanilayam was born from a deep conviction that no elderly person should feel abandoned, and that the evening of life deserves warmth, peace, and meaningful companionship.
As Brothers of St. Gabriel Educational Society, Pune Province, we believe that true education extends beyond classrooms. It is reflected in how we care for the vulnerable, how we honour our elders, and how we transform love into concrete action. Snehanilayam is one such action — a humble yet powerful expression of our mission to serve with faith and humanity.
I sincerely appreciate the dedication of the Brothers, Sisters, volunteers, benefactors, and well-wishers who have made this noble mission possible. Your time, presence, and generosity are silent prayers that bring hope and healing to many hearts.
I invite you to walk with us — through service, support, and prayer — so that together we may ensure that our elders live their lives with dignity, security, and joy.
May God bless all those who make Snehanilayam a true home of love.
