Visit of Smt. Farheen Kouser, Junior Civil Judge & Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Suryapet
On 17th November 2025, Smt. Farheen Kouser, Junior Civil Judge and Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Suryapet, visited Sneha Nilayam along with a team of Public Prosecutors and Legal Officers. The purpose of the visit was to review the well-being of the residents and to ensure that their legal, welfare, and documentation needs were being adequately met.
She was warmly welcomed by the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel, the Nirmal Dasigal Sisters, and the residents.
During her visit, Smt. Farheen Kouser personally interacted with the residents, inquired about their health condition, and listened attentively to their concerns. She visited every room in the facility, observing the living arrangements, hygiene conditions, and the general atmosphere of care provided to the elderly and differently-abled residents. She expressed strong appreciation for the cleanliness, discipline, and the compassionate care rendered by the Brothers and Sisters, acknowledging the institution’s dedicated service to the abandoned and marginalized.
Recognizing the need for ongoing medical support, she immediately coordinated with district health authorities and requested regular visits by government health personnel to monitor the medical needs of the residents. She also extended assistance for residents who did not possess Aadhaar cards, referring their cases to the concerned officials for documentation support and identity verification.
In a thoughtful gesture of kindness, Smt. Farheen Kouser brought buns for all the residents and personally distributed them, spending time with each person and creating a warm, inclusive atmosphere. Her visit reaffirmed the commitment of the District Legal Services Authority toward the welfare and protection of vulnerable individuals.
The visit of Smt. Farheen Kouser stands as an encouraging and supportive gesture, strengthening the collaboration between Sneha Nilayam and district authorities in ensuring dignified care, legal support, and continuous welfare services for all residents.
