Sneha Nilayam, founded by the Brothers of St. Gabriel Educational Society, has been a home of dignity, care, and unconditional love for the elderly and differently abled for the past 46 years. Offering completely free service, it continues to serve the poorest and most abandoned individuals in and around
Suryapet.

» Led with dedication by Bro. Petrus Ekka, Director of Sneha Nilayam.

» Supported by the loving and selfless service of the Sisters of Nirmal Dasigal, who care for the residents with compassion, patience, and motherly affection.

» 458 lives touched through food, shelter, healthcare, and emotional support.

» 48 residents currently receiving complete care and protection, with 10 residents living here for over 32–43 years, reflecting the exceptional quality and lifelong commitment of the institution.

» Students from Montfortian institutions regularly visit, spending time with the residents, nurturing the values of empathy and humanity among young learners.

» A new, well-equipped building was recently constructed to replace the old structures, and inaugurated by Sri Tejas Nandlal Pawar, IAS, District Collector, Suryapet, ensuring better facilities and comfort for all inmates.

For nearly five decades, Sneha Nilayam has stood as a beacon of hope and selfless service, quietly transforming lives and upholding the dignity of the elderly and differently abled. Its mission, rooted in compassion and social responsibility, makes it a truly deserving institution for recognition under the Christian Minority Award for Social Service.
