On the occasion of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Suryapet, conducted a Legal Awareness Programme at Sneha Nilayam, Bashya Naik Thanda, Suryapet on 15 June 2026. Ms. Farheen Kouser, Secretary, DLSA, along with advocates and legal volunteers, interacted warmly with the residents and created awareness about the significance of the day and the rights of senior citizens. She appreciated the dedicated service of the Brothers and Sisters in caring for the elderly and expressed her happiness at the loving environment provided to them. As a gesture of care and support, buns and fruits were distributed to all the residents.
